How to Prepare for Class

We recommend you wear comfortable unrestricted clothing; fitted pants or shorts are suggested so the teacher can make sure you have proper alignment. Take off your socks and shoes before starting your practice.

Bring a towel to wipe down your mat after use, if you sweat during class. We encourage you to purchase your own yoga mat which can be bought through us. Your mat is an important symbol of commitment to your yoga journey. While you may borrow a mat, it's a good idea to have your own; it makes sense financially. With prices this low your commitment shouldn't play into your decision, but your feelings about other people's sweat should.

Practicing yoga on an empty stomach is most comfortable, eat something light such as fruit or yogurt. Drink plenty of water before class to remain hydrated through your practice, please bring some water to drink during class.

  • We provide props: Bringing your own mat and water is encouraged.

  • Cell Phones: Please turn OFF before class.

  • Fragrance Free: Refrain from wearing any perfume or body lotion. Your classmates may be allergic to certain scents.

  • Healthy Living: We ask you don't come to class sick, take a small break and stay home so no one else gets sick.
